Refunds through AppSumo
AppSumo purchases follow AppSumo’s refund policy: 60 days from the purchase date. Request a refund from your AppSumo account. HookWise does not process refunds for AppSumo codes.
When a license is deactivated
Once a refund is approved, AppSumo deactivates the license code and notifies us. The AppSumo plan on your HookWise account stops right away. Projects and files on your computer stay intact, and manual features (import, transcribe, edit, export) keep working. AI features and extra computers lock.
Upgrading and downgrading tiers
Change tiers from the product page on AppSumo. AppSumo issues a new code and your HookWise account moves to the new tier automatically. The old code can no longer be redeemed.
One code per account
A license code works on one HookWise account, and an account can hold one AppSumo license. An account with an active paid subscription cannot redeem a code; use another account or contact us.
Activation on our side
Under AppSumo’s rules, the HookWise team cannot activate, move or deactivate licenses by hand. Every change comes from AppSumo.
