HookWise
AI captions and hashtags

Generate TikTok titles, captions and hashtags from what your video says

Gemini reads the clip transcript and writes post copy for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You read it, adjust it and copy it when you upload.

Needs the Pro or Studio plan and your own Gemini API key

Post copy that matches the clip

1

Written from what was said

Because it works from the transcript, the title and caption mention the topic the clip actually covers.

2

Waiting in the Upload Kit

The title, caption and hashtags show up in the Upload Kit, ready to copy once the upload page is open.

3

Keyword ideas for subtitles

The AI also suggests which words to highlight in the on-screen captions.

How the AI writes your post copy

From reel text to post copy

HookWise sends Gemini the transcript text of the reel and the platform you picked: TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Gemini returns 3 short title options, a caption of 1 to 3 sentences with a call to action, and 5 to 10 hashtags. It also suggests on-screen hook text of up to 8 words and a 20 to 40 second voice-over script that sums up the reel.

You choose the output language, or keep it the same as the transcript. Results are saved, so asking again for the same reel and platform reuses the earlier answer instead of billing your key again.

Making it sound like your account

Pick the title that fits your feed, then edit it. Gemini is told to avoid misleading clickbait, but you know your audience better than it does. Swap generic hashtags for the ones your niche actually uses, and keep the call to action consistent from post to post.

Generate copy once for each platform. A TikTok caption and a YouTube Shorts title do different jobs, and HookWise asks Gemini for each one separately. The final text goes into the Upload Kit and into caption.txt next to the exported video, so whoever posts can copy it straight away.

Requirements and honest limits

This tool needs the Pro or Studio plan, your own Gemini API key and an internet connection. Only the reel text goes to Gemini. The video stays on your computer, and Google bills the tokens to your key.

Gemini works from the transcript, so mistakes in the transcript carry over. A misheard brand name can end up in the caption. Gemini also cannot see the video, so anything that only appears on screen and is never said will not be mentioned. HookWise does not check hashtags for trends or for terms a platform restricts. Read everything before you post.
