From reel to calendar slot
Each scheduled post links a reel to a date, a time and a platform: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts or other. Drag it onto the calendar in month, week or list view, and drag it again to move it. Pick a reminder 15, 30 or 60 minutes before the slot, and HookWise sends a second notification at the posting time itself. Choose Only on time if one notification is enough.
When the notification arrives, open the Upload Kit. It opens the exported file or its Drive link, copies the title, caption and hashtags, and opens the platform page: the TikTok upload page, Instagram, or YouTube Studio. After you post, mark the slot as Uploaded, or as Skipped if you decide not to post.
Using it for a weekly content plan
Cut one episode into several reels and export them in one batch. Daily schedule then puts one reel on each day, in the order you pick, starting from the date and time you set. Week view shows your posting slots side by side, and each platform has its own color, so an empty Instagram slot is easy to spot.
The Today's uploads list shows what is due today. Export to Google Drive when the files live in a shared team folder, since the Upload Kit can open the Drive link directly. Add an optional note to any slot, such as which sound to use or which account to tag.
What it does not do
HookWise does not post for you. You still press upload on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, and the Upload Kit gets the file and text ready. The calendar and reminders work on every plan and need no Gemini key.
Reminders need HookWise running. Menu-bar mode keeps it active in the background with the window closed. If your computer was asleep or off at the reminder time, the missed post shows up when you open HookWise again. Only post copy written with AI needs the Pro or Studio plan and your own key.
